Definitions

  • “The Company” refers to Candy Corner SA

  • “Working Day” means any day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or South African public holiday.

Electronic Communications

By using this Website or communicating with the Company electronically, you acknowledge and consent that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Acceptance and Registration

These Terms and Conditions become effective once you complete the registration process and form a binding agreement between you and the Company.

By registering, you confirm that:

  • you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and any applicable disclaimers,

  • you consider yourself bound by them, and

  • you are duly authorised to accept these Terms (if acting on behalf of another party).

Order Policy

Only individuals who meet the following criteria may place orders with the Company:

  1. You are 18 years or older.

  2. You are legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

  3. You reside within South Africa.

  4. The delivery address provided is within South Africa.

By placing an order, you represent and warrant that all the above statements are true and that you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The purchase contract applies only to those Products whose dispatch has been confirmed via email. The Company is not obliged to supply items that were part of the order but not included in the dispatch confirmation.

All products and prices listed on the Website are valid only while stocks last.

Product images or descriptions on the Website may differ from the final product delivered, including variations in colour, design, shape, or packaging.

Delivery Policy

Orders are dispatched only once full payment of the purchase price and all associated charges has been received.

Unless otherwise stated, deliveries are carried out by the courier company selected by the Company and delivered to the address provided during checkout.

You are responsible for ensuring that someone is available at the delivery address during Business Hours (08:00–17:00 on Working Days) to receive the order.

Any additional courier fees resulting from failed delivery attempts will be at your cost.

The Company is not liable for delays, loss, damages, or claims arising from an incorrect or incomplete delivery address supplied by you.

All orders are covered by the courier’s insurance policy, subject to the courier’s terms and conditions.

Amendment of This Agreement

The Company reserves the right to update or amend these Terms without prior notice. Any updated version will be displayed on the Website with an effective date, which will be no earlier than 30 days from the date of publication.

It is your responsibility to check the Website regularly for updates.

Entire Agreement & No Representations

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the subject matter and replaces any prior written or verbal agreements or representations.

No party is bound by any statement, promise, warranty, or representation not expressly included in this Agreement.

South African Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
If there is inconsistency between the laws of different provinces, the laws of the Province of Eastern Cape shall apply.

Failure to Enforce Rights

If the Company does not enforce any provision of this Agreement, such failure does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights under the Agreement.
